.About the Assistant Dean of Administration

 

Assistant Lecturer Khaled Abdul Jabbar Sabr graduated from the University of Basra - College of Science - Department of Physics in 1994-1995 with a very good grade and was first in his class in the department and second in the college within and completed his master's studies in the same department and specialization in microwave antenna design and analysis using computer simulation in 1996-1997 with a very good grade and first in the class. He devoted himself to working in the field of database programming for the period 2000-2010 and worked as the Director of the Computer Department at the International Bank. He has experience in the field of programming and designing financial and accounting programs and mastering programming languages ​​and skills using Office programs. He also has experience in the field of operations research. Since 2008, he has taught curricula at Shatt al-Arab University and performed the duties of the rapporteur for the Department of Administration and the Department of Civil Engineering. He participated in many committees at Shatt al-Arab University such as the Examination Committee - Examination Audit Committees - Student Admission Audit Committee - Head of the Government Program Committee - Quality Committee - Security Follow-up Committee

The Duties of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs:

1- Administrative Affairs Management:

Coordinating and organizing daily administrative activities in the college or department.

Following up on the implementation of administrative decisions related to the faculty and employees.

Supervising the organization of student files and academic and administrative employees.

2- Coordinating Academic Affairs:

Assisting the Dean in developing and organizing study plans, and organizing the academic schedule.

Following up on exams and distributing related tasks, in addition to organizing Academic Council meetings.

3- Supervising Human Resources:

Following up on the college's needs for academic and administrative employees.

Coordinating recruitment processes, and supervising the evaluation of employee performance.

Organizing training and professional development affairs for employees.

4- Preparing reports and data:

Collecting the data necessary to prepare annual or monthly administrative reports.

Following up on the implementation of administrative projects and activities and ensuring their smooth running.

5- Organizing events and activities:

Organizing academic and administrative events such as conferences, seminars, and university celebrations.
